ALPS Awards Scholarship

The 2026 recipient of the Geraldine Brasher Phemister Scholarship recipient is Gabriel Walth, a graduating senior at Atascadero High School. Gabriel will be attending California State University Monterey Bay this fall majoring in biological sciences with a focus on Environmental Science.

Gabriel cares about the future of our planet and species and wants to personally help the environment. The college offers a beautiful training ground for distance runners so Gabriel also plans to run cross county for the school to sharpen his focus and challenge him in new ways while staying fit and active.
