Trail Crew - Three Bridges Oak Preserve
July 2, 2026
Thirteen ALPS Trail Crew members helped with maintenance activities at the Three Bridges Oak Preserve trailhead and at the creek crossing. The work at the trailhead included weed-whipping the area within the trailhead, cleaning the kiosk signs, blowing off debris from the trailhead pavement, and tending to some small oak saplings growing within the trailhead.
At the creek crossing the crew removed the remains of the fallen sycamore tree. A few days prior the tree had completely covered the crossing. An ALPS volunteer came out the next morning to remove some of the branches that were covering the crossing. The Trail Crew came out in force to remove the bulk of the tree that was still left in the creek. Some of the bigger branches were used as a border along the path leading out of the creek and over to the meadow kiosk.
It was a very productive and fun day! If you are interested in joining the Trail Crew, please send and email to: info@supportalps.org and we will put you on the list.
