CCC Crew helps out at Three Bridges Oak Preserve

February 10, 2026

On February 9 and 10, a small California Conservation Crew had some free time to help with some trail maintanence at Three Bridges Oak Preserve.  The crew worked in two areas on the Madrone Trail.  The first area was about 100 yards up from the barrier fence where the Madrone Trail begins.  In this area the crew smoothed out the trail by knocking down sandstone protrusions and by re-establishing the proper out-slope of the trail.  The second area was farther up trail by the double switchbacks. Here the crew repaired the upper turn so water would drain properly off the trail and not down the trail.

Thanks to a great CCC Crew for helping keep TBOP a great hiking trail!
