Workday at Colony Heritage Center

ALPS and the Atascadero Historical Society (AHS) volunteers joined together for a workday to clean up trash and a campsite frequented by the unhoused. The volunteers also removed brush, lifted up the tree canopy, and regraded the site to discourage future camping.  A total of 11 volunteers turned out, seven from ALPS and four from AHS. An ALPS volunteer also donated the use of his wood chipper to help with the cleanup (thank you Joe!).
