Workday - Adobe Springs

We had a great workday at Adobe Springs as fourteen volunteers helped weed and mulch around the small oak trees, mazanitas and elderberrys. We trimmed some of the bigger oaks to remove dead material and to encourage upward growth. We also removed some of the big cages from the larger oak trees as they are well established and no longer need protection. After some refreshments and snacks, we went for a tour of the spring. It is an amazing sight to see the water bubbling out of the ground!
