Adobe Springs Workday

December 9, 2017

A great group of volunteers came out to help perform some seasonal maintenance around the native plants at Adobe Springs.  Volunteers did a great job of refreshing the mulch, removing weeds and ensuring the browse protection cages will keep deer away from the young plants.  The volunteers also planted a new Valley Oak in the lower flat.

Plant inside cages include: Live Oak, Manzanita, Ceanothus and Chilopsis Desert Willow.

After a few hours of hard work, the enthusiastic crew enjoyed pumpkin bread, scones and lemonade.  ALPS thanks everyone for a job well done!
